Cobalt Credit Union recently decided to upgrade their intranet from Microsoft SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online. During this process the Vice President of IT met with me and the Chief Marketing Officer to determine if I could help with the implementation of the new system by theming the site, building the content of the hub-site, and adding an organized navigation system for the sub-sites. I was keen to take on this new challenge. Never having worked in SharePoint Online, there was as steep learning curve with the technology. However, my design and user experience skills served me well in the actual design process.
Cobalt Credit Union Intranet Re-design
In a move to upgrade their technology, Cobalt Credit Union enlisted me, as their in-house designer, to create a custom theme for the site. I was also charged with the task of building out the content on the hub site, the site navigation, and the marketing -sub-site.
